Abstract

Benzodichalcogenophene (BDC) compounds are Planar solid conjugate structures, containing molecular nuclei  -5 membered rings fused to a 6-atom aryl ring. The electrical and thermal properties of a series of BDC compounds (N = 1,2,3,4 and 5) researches in order to investigate basic We investigated the electrical conductivity and Seebeck's modulus of the Au | molecule | Au using density functional theory to investigate electron transport processes in single molecules (DFT). Lost According to the formula Gn = Ae n and the linear rise in Seebeck's modulus Sn, the expected exponential decrease in conductivity will occur as the molecule length increases.
