Abstract

In a base transceiver system (BTS), the power-hungry part of the transmit chain is the power amplifier (PA). Thus, the effectiveness of the PA has a big impact on the transmitter's total effectiveness. High data rates and minimal power consumption are requirements for today's wireless communications networks. Because frequency bands are expensive and have a limited bandwidth, spectral efficiency is very important. To accommodate increased data rates, this is usually accomplished by altering the modulation algorithms. More than 10Gbps for enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) applications that use 100 times more wireless devices linked than Massive Machine Type Communication (mMTC) over 4G Internet of Everything (IoE), and sub-1 ms latency should be enabled for UR/LL, ultrareliable machine immediate actions communication type are bringing quick wireless downloads to mobile networks of the Fifth Generation (5G). High-power efficiency and strict linearity are required from its power amplifier due to the broadband modulation bandwidth for 5G RF transmitters

In this paper we compared some papers that design power amplifier depend on efficiency, frequency range and linearity, we found that the have trade-off between efficiency and linearity [6].
