Experimental Study of the Effect of Vibration on the Shear Strength on the Interface Between Concrete and Bedrock for a Project
Abstract
This report studies the effect of vibration on shear strength on the interface between concrete and bedrock, which is prepared for Gezhouba Dam key water control project.A set of in-situ tests were carried out in the following way:the vibration load was applied besides the statical load and shear tests were conducted in the course of vibration.The test results show that the peak value of f is decreased by 15% due to the vibration effect.
