The User Analysis of Android Based Interactive Multimedia Development in Biology Learning in High School

This study aims to analysis student needs as the basis for developing android based interactive multimedia. This research is classified into the type of development research, with the model Interactive Multimedia (IMM) model. The stages carried out in this research are specifically in the first stage that is user analysis. The data obtained from this questionnaire will be used as material to develop android-based interactive multimedia on biology learning in high school. The data collection in this study used a questionnaire research instrument for students, then the results of the data obtained were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that students need smartphones to support their learning needs because some students do not understand biology learning, then students agree to develop android based interactive multimedia for biology learning in high school.
