Abstract

Research on leadership management in improving the literacy of early childhood education teachers provides valuable insights into the contribution of leadership management in improving teachers' reading and writing literacy. Based on the nature and characteristics of the problems studied, this study uses a quantitative approach. The quantitative approach in this study is useful for gaining an in-depth understanding of teacher literacy improvement activities. The research instrument consisted of a data collection instrument and a data analysis guide. The findings of this study indicate that early childhood education teachers have literacy skills in reading and writing with effective leadership or principal management. Because the principal has a role that greatly affects the success of teachers in teaching. The findings of this study contribute to leader management in providing teachers with an understanding of the importance of using literacy in teaching. However, for further research, it is suggested to examine leader management in literacy development with different objects.
