The Problem of Global Warming and its Impact on Increasing Soil Saturation in the City of Samawah
Keywords:
global warming, salinity etcAbstract
The problem of salinity is one of the most important problems that the world suffers from in light of the problem of global warming that has begun to encircle the world, and as a result it affected the soil, especially agricultural, including many risks that impeded its performance in agricultural production due to the high proportions of some harmful elements at the expense of the beneficial elements, which are elements The salt carbonate, represented by magnesium, potassium and calcium, and the situation becomes more complex in the absence of real treatments and solutions, so the problem becomes more complex, and the study area is one of the areas that have been affected by the above damage, as it faces the soils of the study area as they are located within the dry region whose rainfall is less than (200 mm) on average annually, in which the temperature increases to ranges close to (40° C) in the heat separation, which coincided with the phenomenon of global warming, which doubled the seriousness of this problem, which reflected negatively on the reality of agricultural production, and thus led to the decline of the land Productive over time, and led to an increase in soil salinization, which resulted in large areas of agricultural land being left to dry lands that could not be relied upon for production. C agricultural and the study area is now one of the areas that witness an increase in the rate of high salts in it in the absence of treatments and solutions through which to surround this problem.
