Abstract

India boasts the world's largest road network, yet the current roadways are structurally unable to handle the current volume of traffic. The use of geosynthetics is both compatible and effective when it comes to improving soil qualities. The current study investigates the performance of geotextile (woven and non-woven) as a soft subgrade and unbound gravel in the victimisation of unpaved flexible pavement systems. CA Examine the bearing magnitude relation (CBR). The comparison of the reinforcement magnitude relation of woven and non-woven geotextile reinforced CMB load penetration examination shows that the performance is increased with the addition of geotextile.Geotextiles, a modern engineering technology, have a wide range of uses in the pavement construction industry. The separation/stabilization use is the most typical application of geotextiles beneath paved and unpaved roadways. Separation, Stabilization, Reinforcement, and Filtration are all advantages of using geotextiles in paved and unpaved roads. Geotextiles may often replace or reduce the use of natural aggregate construction materials, resulting in cost and environmental savings. The current study examined typical distress problems that emerge in highway building as a result of a variety of causes.
